Our Latest School Signage & Mural Projects

Mission Heights School

This was a cohort led project by the junior college. They wanted to create an impactful vision of their values. The outcome was this GROWING GREATNESS large format decal on the glass panels that lead into the classroom block.

The Gardens School

After the extensive rebuild of The Gardens school the leadership team wanted to invest in art works that would give vitality to the new build. Grafix Wall Art was lucky to be given the opportunity to help design a theme around a reading room that encourages children to come in and pick up a book. We choose an underwater concept based around a submarine. We produced murals, window graphics and cut out images that allowed ‘sneak peaks’ into this wonderful room. The school then added the tulle to the ceiling to finish off the underwater feel.

Papatoetoe East Primary School

The library at PEPS needed some love and attention and the leadership team along with the Year 6 kids came up with an inviting outdoor area that included planter boxes, soft seating and a tropical feel. Grafix Wall Art then used the beautiful artwork from TAMAASA and printed custom designed and fitted New Zealand flora and fauna window graphics and outdoor structure wraps.

Bairds Mainfreight School

Outdoor signage was created for BMS at two of the entrances and internally in the school grounds. These signs have a 10 year warranty and are made from ACM.

Northcross Intermediate

We were fortunate to be a part of the building wrap at Northcross school. The art was created by Kate Hindson which we printed on laminated Hi-Tack vinyl. We then had help from the student committee installing the mural on site.

St Kentigern College

The English Dept developed a literary timeline that linked social events with the release of best selling novels. This covered nearly 20 metres of hallway and turned a functional area from institutional to interesting.
